Styrene-Butadiene Rubber is the rubber material that most closely resembles natural rubber in properties. It has excellent abrasion and wear resistance, high elasticity, and tensile strength. It also offers good tear resistance and electrical insulation but is not resistant to oil or chemicals. Its operating temperature range is -50°C to +100°C.

Nitrile Rubber is best known for its excellent oil resistance. It also offers good wear and tear resistance, chemical resistance, and heat resistance. It is particularly suitable for applications that involve contact with oils. Common uses include O-rings, seals, gaskets, and shock-absorbing rubber mats under machinery. The temperature range is -35°C to +120°C.

Chloroprene Rubber / Neoprene CR rubber is known for excellent flame resistance due to the presence of chlorine atoms in its structure, which allows it to self-extinguish within 10 seconds (UL94 V-0 rating). It also provides good resistance to aging, acids, alkalis, and diluted chemicals, better than natural rubber. Its temperature range is -50°C to +140°C.

Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer EPDM rubber is known for its high heat resistance and excellent elasticity. It resists aging caused by oxygen, ozone, UV, and heat. It is also water- and dust-resistant and offers good resistance to chemicals, acids, and alkalis. However, it is not resistant to petroleum-based oils, though it has moderate resistance to vegetable and animal oils. The operating temperature range is -40°C to +160°C.

Silicone rubber is highly heat-resistant and elastic. It performs well under environmental stress, such as sunlight, ozone, and oxygen. It has excellent weathering and abrasion resistance. As a pure, non-toxic material, it is suitable for food contact and medical applications. It has a wide operating temperature range from -70°C to +220°C.

FKM / Fluoroelastomer Rubber Also known as FKM rubber, Viton offers exceptional heat resistance and can withstand extremely cold temperatures. It is highly resistant to strong acids, alkalis, chemicals, and virtually all types of oils. It also resists environmental degradation and air exposure. The working temperature range is -30°C to +250°C.
